Cool Cash [Tech Demo]

Cool Cash is a game project made for university subject known as the Cultural Perspectives. The project is designed to address and provoke thought on the user. The game is based on the ideas of conspicuous consumption and resource management stylized through the synthwave and vapourware aesthetics and subculture.

The player plays as a well-off internet content creator and the goal is to maintain balance among the 4 factors that maintain their survival in society. They are tested through various types of questions answered simply by swiping either left or right, that challenge the way the player spends their money in order to gain more social power.
The game is aimed at teenagers and young adults and we aim to educate people more on the way we as a society consume media and products in order to make a name for ourselves.
